Cheltenham Town's live television schedule for the 2026/27 EFL season has been confirmed by Sky Sports. The broadcaster announced its selections for matches up to January 9, 2027, with the Robins set to feature in several League Two broadcasts.
According to the schedule published by Sky Sports on Tuesday 25 August 2026, Cheltenham will be shown live at least four times before the new year. Their first televised match is a trip to face Barnet at The Hive on Saturday 29 August, kicking off at 12:30pm. This is followed by an away fixture at Crawley Town's Broadfield Stadium on Saturday 12 September, also at 12:30pm.
Which Cheltenham games will be on TV?
The confirmed live broadcasts for Cheltenham Town continue into the autumn. On Saturday 24 October, Darrell Clarke's side host Newport County at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium in a 12:30pm kick-off selected for Sky Sports coverage. The final currently scheduled televised match sees Cheltenham travel to face Exeter City at St James Park on Saturday 14 November.
All these matches will be available to watch across Sky Sports' main channels or on its Sky Sports+ streaming service. Every game shown on television will also be accessible via the Sky Sports mobile app. The broadcaster has committed to featuring each of the 72 EFL clubs live more than 20 times throughout the campaign. You can track all the Robins' upcoming commitments on our dedicated fixtures page.
How does the wider EFL TV schedule work?
Sky Sports will show more than 1,000 live matches across the EFL, Carabao Cup, and EFL Trophy during the 2026/27 season. The opening weekend of the campaign, which runs from Friday 14 August to Monday 17 August, will see every single EFL match broadcast live. This blanket coverage continues for specific midweek rounds, such as the fixtures scheduled for Tuesday 1 September and Wednesday 2 September.
Selections for matches are announced in blocks. The current schedule covers games up to early January 2027. Further announcements for matches from March 2027 onwards will be made on a rolling basis, with final weekend selections confirmed the week before they are played. What does this mean for Cheltenham fans?
The increased television exposure provides a significant platform for Cheltenham Town. It offers fans unable to attend matches in person multiple opportunities to follow the team's progress throughout the season. For those with a full Sky Sports subscription, no extra payment is required to access these games on TV or via streaming.
Non-Sky customers can watch through NOW's flexible contract options. The confirmed televised fixtures also bring altered kick-off times, with all four of Cheltenham's selected matches starting at 12:30pm on Saturdays. This scheduling allows the Robins to avoid the disruption of Friday night or Monday evening fixtures in this initial broadcast batch. The current League Two standings show the competitive landscape the team faces.
Cheltenham Town's next scheduled live television appearance is the League Two encounter against Newport County at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium on Saturday 24 October 2026.
