Cheltenham Town travel to face Accrington Stanley this Saturday aiming to protect their position near the top of League Two. Steve Cotterill's side are second with 15 points from eight games and are unbeaten in their last five matches.

Accrington Stanley, managed by John Doolan, are 19th but have drawn three and won one of their four home league fixtures this term. Doolan emphasised the importance of their home form ahead of the clash. "We are unbeaten at home so we want to keep that going," the Accrington boss said. "We want to turn it into a fortress and it's another challenge this weekend."

Cheltenham's recent form includes a 2-1 home win over Chesterfield last weekend, with goals from Charlie McCann and Andreas Weimann. They have scored 16 goals this season, the third-highest tally in the division. Accrington have injury concerns, with midfielder Liam Coyle struggling with a groin problem, though Tom Moore and Conor Grant have returned to training.

The last meeting between the sides was a 3-1 win for Accrington at the Crown Ground back in January. Cheltenham will be looking to improve that record as they continue their push for promotion. The match kicks off at 3pm local time on Saturday.
