He explained the quiet deadline day approach, stating the club felt that unless a potential signing would "really enhance the group, they would stick with what they had." The chief scout praised the character of the new arrivals alongside their on-pitch impact. "We’ve got 10 players, a really good set of lads who have started the season well and hopefully that can continue," Milton said.
